PV systems and the NEC with 2026 changes

The 2026 edition of the National Electrical Code has been adopted by six states and will soon be adopted by most other states. Our PV221-70 (A) & (B) PV Systems and the NEC courses have been updated to include the 2026 changes.

Since there are several states that do not adopt the latest version of the NEC, we cover the changes that have occurred for the past three versions. Many solar contractors work in more than one state so it is good to know which code edition to follow in each location.

The 2026 update for PV221-70(C) PV Systems with Energy Storage will be out by the end of September.
