Solairgen's School of Technology PV 203 is an IREC Accredited, three day solar class and workshop that begins with the fundamentals of photovoltaic system installation, then takes you through site assessment, system sizing and design, electrical calculations, code considerations, then hands-on system installation with an introduction to Solairgen's exclusive System Configuration Software. Battery Systems: Installing on-grid or off-grid battery back-up systems is a critical component of complete photovoltaic installations to the residential market. This 12 hour class is dedicated to understanding and installing battery systems, teaching you to design and build reliable battery systems in the hands-on lab. We provide students with the knowledge and job skills necessary to ensure success with on-grid and off-grid battery systems.

This class is designed specifically to prepare you for the NABCEP PV Installer Certification exam. An intensive two-day course, PV-221 draws from three primary sources: the NABCEP® Study Guide, Photovoltaic Systems by Jim Dunlap, and the 2008 NEC. The instructor has dual NABCEP Installation Certification (PV and Solar Thermal) and over ten years in the solar industry as an installer and trainer.
